INTRODUCTION
Several types of structures are commonly utilized for
detached residential accessory and agricultural buildings.
The three most common types of structures are conventional
light wood framing, post frame construction and rigid
steel frame structures.Each of these structures have unique
construction features that need to be shown on the plans
that are required to be submitted as a part of a building
permit application. This document will outline the details
and specifications that need to be shown on the plans
for buildings utilizing the Rigid Steel Frame construction
requirements of the International Residential Code.
